Hot Summertime

Summer has hit P'ville pretty hard this week, but it's cool inside where all the sewing is going on. Today we had quite a group for WIP Wednesday - sewing & snacking & sharing.
Look at these pretty Laurel Burch holiday fabrics that just arrived. I just love the panel! You'll have to stop in to see the intensity of these colors. Amazing.

Lil Twister Class

The Lil Twister class has been pretty popular around the Calico Mermaid.

It just takes 25 5 inch fabric squares, a cool lil tool & off you go!

Stonehenge by Northcott

Stonehenge has been very popular at the shop since we opened, but this week the holiday pieces arrived so I thought I'd share them.
This is the panel requested by some of our favorite customers.
Look at these beautiful holiday panels. Perfect for quick wall hangings or add borders to make a throw or a great holiday bed cover.

I'm loving this tree skirt panel with all the reds! You could line it to be reversible with another pretty fabric on the back - or even piece the other side. How cool is this?

This panel has been moving really quickly. One friend even used it to make a barbeque apron! I wish I had a picture of that to share.

Fabric everywhere!

We've been moving everything around to make room for more! We have lots of fruits & veggies, & the flannels are in now. My favorite handyman has engineered more shelves in the crib & the log bed to accommodate the orders arriving weekly.
