Porterville Art Walk

The Art Walk last Friday night was great.
We had a huge turn out to see Barbara Daniel's beautiful work.

We have a little area toward the front of the shop where we set up her quilts because in the back of the shop - in the classroom area - we had a bunch of quilters sewing from 5 to midnight! Our Friday Night Fever has become very popular & both events fall on the first Friday each month.

I tried to snap a few good pics, but it seems like I just get everyone's backs.

This one has some crystals & bead embellishments.
I wish you could see the ribbon embroidery work on these two. Gorgeous!
You'll have to come join us next month. We'll feature another art quilter in our shop. Art walk is always the first Friday night each month, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Look at these beauties.
Whether you're using them to embellish your quilted pieces or stringing them for something special to wear, these bead assortments are spectacular!
Check out these colors.

Have you tried making postcards?

Postcards are an exciting new creative project many are enjoying. It's a great way to use up small pieces of fabric. We have all the other supplies you'll need - Peltex stabilizer, embellishments and clear envelopes.
These rhinestones can even be applied to flip flops or ironed on to dress up an old pair of jeans. Your scrapbooking projects may never be the same!
