Charlotte M's Quilting Studio

We visited Charlotte M. in Lemoore recently. She has a lovely quilting studio & some very nice quilts hanging in her home.

 Look at the blocks on her design wall - waiting to tell her what color sashing they'd like. 

I suggested red, of course. ;)

She quilts on an HQ 16 on a frame & does beautiful work.

 Much of her work is dedicated to charity.

 

These lovely pieces are just some of the beauties hanging in her home.

Some are her early works, some are more recent, but all reflect her love of nature & color.

Sheri's Eye Candy

Sheri Cates was our featured artist at Downtown Porterville's March Art Walk.

Here is a sampling of her amazing work.

Her paper piecing is amazing.

This is her Master's Degree project. Her Math students were required to do all the calculations necessary, including rescaling individual pieces as well as the entire quilt from full size to a wall hanging.

Her applique is beautiful, too.

Sheri does amazing work. We're so fortunate to have her teaching at Calico Mermaid.

I have thoroughly booked our spring & summer to the absolute gills!
We're packing up to vend at a retreat tomorrow for the weekend...then it just never seems to slow down!
All this & our first grandbaby on the way...too much fun!
