Road Trip for the Mermaids!

We closed up shop last Sunday & made a quick road trip to Road to California Quilt Show 

in Ontario, Ca.

It was a great show, full of fabulous quilts. We all chose our favorites, & were inspired by the awesome talent of quilters from all over.

I think jenny will like this one.

This one is Jen's favorite.

Lynette needs to see these adorable hexies.

 I love this - & I'm not really a modern quilter at heart.

Goodness!

Boy, have I been out of touch, or what? (sorry about that)

Did we all survive the holidays & ringing in 2014?!

I hope you're all settled down from the cooking, shopping, partying frenzy.  

School has started back for me, so I'm back in full swing craziness.

All my company has departed...most of the Christmas debris is cleaned up. 

I really dislike taking down the Christmas decorations. 

I love holidays & a month doesn't seem like long enough to enjoy Christmas. 

And now we have both the house AND the shop to un-decorate. Not an easy thing for me.

We had a wonderful December at the shop:

It's been a wild, wonderful, quilty end to 2013. We're looking forward to an even better 2014.

(If you haven't heard, we're going to have a grandbaby soon. I can hardly wait to show you what I've been working on, but it's a secret, so you'll have to be patient.)
